Deputy Minister Hlengiwe Mkhize commemorates 16 Days of Activism for no violence against women and children, 27 Nov

The Deputy Minister of Telecommunications and Postal Services, Professor Hlengiwe Mkhize will commemorate 16 Days of Activism for no violence against women and children in Elukwatini, Mpumalanga on 27 November 2015.

As part of the cybersecurity awareness initiated by Government, the commemoration will highlight all cyber related crimes that impact negatively on women, youth and children. Members of the public and stakeholders will also be informed about the current establishment of the cybersecurity hub, which is a center to assist and advise victims of cybercrime.

Deputy Minister Mkhize, will be accompanied by stakeholders within the ICT sector, the Premier’s office, District and Local Municipalities, Justice Cluster, diverse Youth and Women structures as well as Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) that handle issues related to gender based violence.
