Department of Labour officially launches the 2016 Industrial Action Report

The Department of Labour’s Acting Director-General, Vuyo Mafata will officially launch the 2016 Industrial Action Report this Thursday, September 28, 2017.

The Industrial Action Report provides an annual analysis of the strike incidents in the country. It highlights the number of stoppages or strikes and to shed some light on the impact of those strikes on issues such as working days, economy, wages, including causes of stoppages, number of workers involved and many more.
