President to open newly built classes at Adams College

President Jacob Zuma will tomorrow, 28 September 2017, officially open the newly built classes and a library at Adams College in Amanzintoti in the KwaZulu-Natal Province.

President Zuma last year officiated at the sod turning ceremony of the construction of the classes and library to realign the renowned learning institute on its ten year vision to revitalise, redevelop and reposition Adams College as a premier institution for future generations.

Adams College is historically one of the first few training institutions in South Africa where Africans could attain a decent education and skills during the darkest period of black oppression.

The school counts amongst its alumni, luminaries such as Dr John Langalibalele Dube, Chief Albert Luthuli (Former Presidents of the African National Congress), Former President of Uganda, Mr Milton Obote and Sir Seretse Khama, former President of Botswana as well as former AU Commission Chairperson Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma and Inkatha Freedom Party President Inkosi Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
