A team from the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) will also visit the area to assess the families and register those who qualify for social grants.

The two Ministers will also use the opportunity to assess the damage caused by the fire so that a plan can be put in place to help the affected families to rebuild their lives.

They will also visit the family of one of the two people who died in the blaze to offer their condolences.
