On Monday, 26 February 2018, police officers from Ethekwini Inner South Cluster Crime Combatting Unit received information of illicit drug activities in Westcliff. Police proceeded to Grimsby Avenue in Westcliff where they conducted observations before arresting a 30 year old female suspect. Police seized 800 capsules of heroine with an estimated street value of R 10 000,00. The drugs seized will be forwarded for forensic analysis.
The accused will appear at the Chatsworth Magistrates Court in due course.
