Mafube: A 31-year-old African male has been arrested for possession of suspected drugs in Mafube. On Thursday, 30 October 2025, at about 13:30, the Sasolburg Public Order Policing unit was conducting operations in the Mafube precinct when they were alerted to a male allegedly selling drugs at an informal settlement near a primary school.
According to South African Police Service, when officers arrived at the scene, they found the suspect in possession of 30 zip-lock bags containing substances believed to be crystal meth. Additionally, a sum of cash was confiscated from the suspect.
The individual is expected to make an appearance at the Mafube Magistrate’s Court shortly, facing charges related to the possession of suspected drugs.
