AWARD-WINNING rapper, AKA, will perform at this weekendrsquos Miss South Africa Pageant.

The event is scheduled for Sun City on Sunday.

He joins an entertainment line-up that includes Gangs of Ballet, Beatenberg and Sterling EQ who will entertain both the Superbowl audience as well the thousands of TV viewers watching the live broadcast.

Born Kiernan Jordan Forbes, AKA has won numerous local and international awards and has opened for such acts as Kanye West, Snoop Lion, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar on their South African tours.

Meanwhile 12 finalists are vying for the Miss SA title.

The contenders are Busi Mahlangu (Mpumalanga) Chanelle Sardinha (Gauteng) Danelle de Wet (Western Cape) Gugulethu Banda (Gauteng) Kim Wentzel (Gauteng) Liesl Laurie (Gauteng) Nicole Lamberts (Western Cape) Ntsiki Mkhize (Gauteng) Refilwe Mthimunye (Gauteng) Shanegrave Naidoo (Gauteng) Sihle Makhanya (KZN) and Taryn Morris (Western Cape).
