Aliwal North Cluster successes

In a combined operation between Crime Intelligence, K9 Unit, Jamestown Visible Policing and Detectives, positive information were followed up on 16 April 2018 and three suspect age 41, 40 and 29 were arrested on the gravel road between Lady Grey and Jamestown when travelling in a Toyota Quantam. It is alleged that they were on their way to Queenstown. Seven cellphone tower batteries and tools were recovered.

In Aliwal North on the same day, members of Visible Policing followed up positive information and arrested a suspect for possession of suspected stolen meat.

At Palmietfontein, a member of the SANDF together with SAPS Telle Bridge, confiscated four bags of dagga after the suspects ran away and crossed the river that is very strong due to heavy rains.

The Cluster Commander, Brigadier Xakavu commended the members on the excellent work done.
