Anti-Gang Unit recover stolen firearm and confiscate prescription pills: Uitenhage

PORT ELIZABETH – Port Elizabeth Anti-Gang Unit members seized a stolen firearm and prescription tablets from a house in Kamesh today 13 February 2020.

It is alleged that at about 11:00 today 13 February 2020, members executed a search warrant at a house in Pepperboom Street in Kamesh. On searching the house, a 6.35 baby browning firearm was found inside a sling bag in the room. The firearm was reported stolen in Bellville in December 1987. Also found in the house were 2695 prescription tablets.

No one was arrested and an enquiry docket was opened for further investigation.
