Awareness campaign conducted by Cradock police station

Cradock Visible Sector Commanders, Station Commander and the Cradock K-9 unit embarked on an awareness campaign at Carinus Primary school and the Ilingelethu crèche in the Cradock policing precinct.

The purpose of the awareness campaign was to focus on educating the pupils on basic road safety tips, drugs and substance abuse and preventing the spread of the Covid-19 disease.

Sponsorship of 50 pairs of school shoes, bags, two water tanks and cupcakes made by one of the Cradock K-9 members were also donated.

The following partners, the Public Servant Association, Old Mutual and Shoprite Checkers, are thanked for their generous contributions in making the day a success.

Sergeant Frank Pieters certainly went beyond the call of duty to serve and protect and believes that giving back to the needy in our communities will enhance a chance for a child to rise above his /her circumstances.
