BLOEMFONTEIN – Residents in Bohlokong Bethlehem closed De Viliers Street in Bohlokong with burning tyres after they caught a 27-year-old alleged murder suspect and assaulted him. Nhlapo has been admitted in a local hospital with serious injuries.
Bohlokong SAPS and Bethlehem Public Order Policing (POP) Unit members are at the scene monitoring the situation.
The 30-year-old deceased was allegedly stabbed by his friend in the early hours of today, 21 June 2020. According to allegations both the suspect and the deceased were drinking together with other friends when an argument erupted between the two. The suspect allegedly pulled the deceased from the room where they were drinking in and stabbed him with a knife.
Police were alerted and deceased found with multiple stab wounds.
