Bothitong man held for stolen copper cables

NORTHERN CAPE – Police at Bothitong have arrested a 40-year-old man from Cassel village in Bothitong in connection with suspected stolen copper cables. The suspect was arrested this morning at about 10:00.

Police received information about the copper cables. The information was operationalised leading to the arrest of the suspect. The copper is valued at about R12 800-00.

The suspect is expected to appear before the Mothibistad Magistrate’s court on Monday, 11 November.

Police investigation continues.
