The Central Bank of Liberia has installed one of the latest integrated repositories for its Management Information System.
According to the 2014 Annual Report of the CBL released recently, the installation forms part of efforts by the entity to ensure that its service delivery meets the highest global standards.
Accordingly, the entity has trained its staff in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya and Tunisia to position them to deal with the most automated and modernized line-of-business equipment, the report stated.
The report also indicated that the improvement in its computer system infrastructure creates a central repository catering to the management, administration and maintenance of thousands of users, objects and accessories.
The system connectivity is maintained through LIBTELCO’s fiber optic connection, with a standalone unit established by the CBL to serve as the focal point for the modernization initiative, the report said.
