Christian Bella Releases New Hit

MALAIKA Band lead singer Christian Bella has officially released his new audio and video song named ‘Nashindwa’.
The audio was recorded at Combination Sounds Record, while the video was produced in South Africa and directed by Adam Juma from Visual Lab.
‘Nashindwa’ is just a continuation of his 2015 project, which is expected to be followed by an album that will comprise songs that are already in the market and others yet to be released due to various reasons, including tours.
Bella told the ‘Daily News’ that he has introduced a new song with more flavour majoring on the market demand and need to improve the current style that has become common to most bands in the country
. He said the music industry has changed and as a musician, he has all reasons to be part and parcel of improvements needed to be undertaken in a way forward to higher income and compete in the international market.
“I have decided to modify everything in my works from writing, singing, dancing to stage performance styles as you can see in my video which I have released today,” he said.
Bella said the video cost more than 17 million/- on shooting fee and other related budgets, including transport and accommodation charges in South Africa.
Defending his decision to shoot in a foreign land, he said he wanted to expand the market and meet new challenges by collaborating with well experienced producers and directors, who are networked with popular entertainment TV stations like Channel O and Trace Tv.
“In South Africa, there are directors and producers who are well experienced and connected to international Television stations. That’s why I decided to incur such costs which I have never experienced before,” said the musician.
He added that the new song will be performed live for the first time in the city on April 18, to be followed by a regional tour in May.
He said Alice from Uganda of ‘Posa ya Bolingo’ hit and Juliana Kanyomwozi of ‘Mpita Njia’ are some of the musicians expected to participate in the show. Bella expects many others to support the show, but he would prefer those who perform live.
