The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Department will be performing essential work that will result in the disruption of the water supply to the Sunningdale and Blouberg Sands areas. Read more below:

The work will result in the disruption of the water supply in the West Beach, Blouberg Sands, Blouberg Rise, Parklands and Sunningdale areas on Thursday 20 June 2019 from 20:00, until midday on Friday 21 June 2019.

Residents are kindly requested to store water in clean, sealed containers for use during this period.

To assist residents with a supply of fresh water during the above mentioned hours, water tankers will be stationed at the following venues:

Link Road at the Spar Shopping Centre

Parklands Main and Dorchester Roads at the St John’s School

Sandown Road at the Checkers Shopping Centre

Ringwood Drive at the Blouberg International School

All taps must be kept closed during this period to prevent any water loss and/or damage when the water supply is restored.

The City apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused while conducting these emergency repairs.
