The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Department will be undertaking repair work to the main water pipeline that supplies the Parow Industria area. This will result in the reduction of water pressure in this area. Read more below:

The City would like to alert residents of Parow Industria, specifically the areas of Radnor, Stellenberg, Junction and Ruben Kaye Streets, of the repair work to be carried out on Sunday 30 June 2019 from 08:00 to midnight.

The abovementioned areas may experience low water pressure, or intermittent disruptions to the water supply.

Careful consideration has been given to this work to ensure that it has minimum impact on the consumers in the area.

Residents and businesses are kindly advised to minimise their water consumption during this period to lessen the impact of the low water pressure in the distribution system and are kindly requested to store water in clean, sealed containers for use during this period.

The City apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused while the repair work is underway.
