The Select Committee on Appropriations today considered the final mandate and draft report on the Division of Revenue Amendment Bill [B24-2017].

While eight provinces voted in favour of adopting the Division of Revenue Amendment Bill [B24-2017], the Western Cape voted against the adoption.

The Committee deliberated the Report on the Division of Revenue Bill and this was adopted with the proposed amendments.

The Division of Revenue Bill [B24-2017 was tabled in Parliament on 25 October 2017 by the Minister of Finance during the presentation of the 2017 Medium Term Budget Policy Statement (MTBPS) and was referred to the Committee on 14 November 2017.
