Community mobilization about Deputy Minister’s Imbizo and provincial launch of the 2019 Safer Festive Season Operations

POLOKWANE: Members of the SAPS Provincial Media Centre of the Communication and Liaison Services, has on Friday, 1 November 2019 continued with the implementation of the media plan for the two events by visiting radio stations on mobilization for the two combined upcoming events of the Deputy Minister of Police, that will take place on Monday, 4 November 2019, at 10:00 at Ga-Sekororo, Loraine Sports Ground under the Tzaneen Cluster in the Limpopo Province.

Lieutenant Colonel Mamphaswa Seabi has visited Sekhukhune FM and Masemola FM for interviews that focused on community mobilization about the two events.

Meanwhile, Constable Mienkie Ramakgoakgoa visited two radio stations being Mohodi FM and Bohlokwa FM.

She informed the audience about Deputy Minister of Police, Mr Cassel Mathale’s Imbizo coupled with the provincial launch of the Safer Festive Season Operations.

She also highlighted to the community members about the danger part of roaming around with large sum of money and they rather, utilize technology safety measures such as to swipe at the stores. Motorists were advised to get rest when travelling long distances but at the same time they must stop only at places that are safe.
