Covid-19 case at Durban North police station

DURBAN – All communities serviced by the Durban North police station are advised that this police station has been temporarily closed due to a member who tested positive for the Covid-19 virus today, 19 January 2021. The member was on duty on Friday 15 January and received the results today.
The Community Service Centre will now operate from Umhlanga satellite station which is situated at no 1 Autumn Drive in Umhlanga for the convenience of the community.
To access the station, the community can call 082 463 3329 for all emergencies and complaints which will be attended to accordingly.
The telephone lines at Durban north police station Community Service Centre will not be accessible for the duration of the closure. However service delivery will not be hampered.
The building will be decontaminated and services will resume normally at the station on a date that will be communicated in January 2021.
The SAPS management apologises for any inconvenience that may arise from this.
