Crime awareness campaigns continue in Lebowakgomo

The station commander of Lebowakgomo police station, Colonel Kgwedi today conducted crime awareness campaigns at the local shopping centre and Lebo Mall. The campaigns were also supported by the communication officer, Captain Leshilo and Victim Empowerment Center (VEP) representative, Mr Rachoene.
The following were highlighted:
* Human trafficking
* Gender Based Violence (GBV)
* Criminals impersonating police members at the mall.
The members proceeded to the adjacent areas and visited different shops, cautioning about fraud and criminals wearing retail uniforms to rob unsuspecting victims of their money and valuables. The campaigns were concluded at SJ van der Merwe Technical High School for monitoring of Covid-19 compliance.
