Dagga estimated at R400 000-00 recovered in Galeshewe

KIMBERLEY – Members of the Northern Cape Organised Crime and Visible Policing acted on information received and recovered a large quantity of dagga.
The Acting Provincial Commissioner, Major General Henriette de Waal commended the members’ prompt reaction which led to the discovery of the dagga.
The discovery was made last night at a house on Mathibe Street in Galeshewe at about 20:00.
No person was found in the house and 28 bags of dagga weighing 138,2kg valued at R400 000-00 were confiscated.
Police investigation continues.
