Water consumption for the past week (13-19 January 2020) increased to 762 million litres/day. Dam levels declined by 1,4% to 71,8%.
For the same period in 2018, at the height of the drought, dam levels were at 27,5% and last year at 62,1%.
Although dam levels are in a much healthier position this year, there are still various restrictions on the use of water.
