The Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation to give keynote address at Campus Community Policing Forum in Mthatha
The Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Mr Buti Manamela, will give a keynote address to hundreds of high school learners at the Campus Community Forum in Walter Sisulu University, in Mthatha.
The scourge of crime and gender based violence continues to eat at the fabric of our societies and is pervasive in higher education institutions. Thus, one of the department’s key objectives is to eradicate crime and gender based violence.

To this end, we have forged partnerships and collaborate with SAPS and other key external stakeholders to manage gender based violence and other life threatening practices around Mthatha.
