EASTERN CAPE – On Friday, 5 July 2019 around 6:20pm, it is alleged that three men armed with firearms stormed into a spaza shop in Mahashe Street, Khayamnandi area (Despatch) and held a 36-year-old shop owner and his assistant at gunpoint.

Suspects stole undisclosed amount of cash, airtime vouchers, cigarettes and two cellphones before fleeing the scene. Police are urging anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact the nearest police station or to share information via Crime Stop 08600 10111.
