On Friday, 22 March 2019 at about 10am, Diepsloot police along with CPF and community patrollers embarked on a campaign to address the scourge of hijackings on the N14 next to Diepsloot.

The police and stakeholders converged at the N14 Petroport garage to sensitise motorists, as they drove in to fill in their tanks, about incidents of hijackings which are on the upsurge on this road.

Motorists were urged to be cautious when they experience breakdowns on this road. They were encouraged to call 10111 or contact Diepsloot police on 011 367 6300 when approached by suspicious vehicles or persons.
