DURBAN: On 26 March 2021, police officers from the Provincial Drug and Firearm unit conducted an operation in one of the flats in Point area.

They were following up information on the drugs that were kept in a flat for distribution. The team converged on the premises and a search was conducted. During the search, the police recovered 2488 ecstasy tablets and 408,3 grams of cocaine powder. The total value of the recovered drugs is R292 185-00. The suspect is still being sought by police. An enquiry regarding the recovered drugs was opened at Point SAPS.
