Duo arrested for drug dealing

The police in Phillipstown arrested two males for dealing in drugs.

It is alleged that the police stopped a vehicle requesting a permit and the vehicle sped off before producing the permit.  The police chased the vehicle and in the process, the suspects’ car overturned and drugs fall of the car.  More drugs were found inside the car and the two male suspects were arrested and taken to hospital. The confiscated drugs are estimated to the street value of approximately R38 000,00.  The two suspects aged 30 and 37 years are facing charges of reckless and negligent driving, dealing in drugs alternatively possession of drugs and failure by person to confine to residence during lockdown.

The Cluster Commander of Pixley ka Seme, Brigadier Nomana Adonis applauded the members for the excellent job done.
