CRADOCK – On Wednesday, 19 May 2021 a 64-year-old male was arrested for possession of 5.6 kilograms of marijuana.

The arrest for dealing in dagga followed after members of the Cradock Crime Prevention and Operational Command Centre acted on intelligence driven information and found the marijuana at a household in the Michausdal locality of Cradock.

Seven (7) plastic bags containing loose marijuana and thirty (30) fingers of marijuana were confiscated.

The estimated street value of the marijuana is R5 600-00.

The suspect will appear before the Cradock Magistrates Court on Thursday the 20th of May 2021, on charges relating to dealing in dagga.
