EASTERN CAPE – During the weekend members from different stations and units participated in crime prevention activities.

Operation Fiela was held at Ugie together with members of K9, Mounted Unit and visible Policing of Maclear, Elliot, Ugie and their Detectives. Successes included arrests on drunk and disorderly and possession of drugs. Maclear Crime Prevention also had two successes while they were busy with high visibility patrols and followed up positive information. A 40-year-old suspect was arrested for dealing in drugs at Old Locality and a 36-year-old suspect was also arrested for dealing in drugs at Vincent Township.

The Cluster Commander, Colonel Matshediso Gezani thanked the members for the good work.
