The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Department will be conducting emergency repairs on its bulk water pipeline in Hindle Road. This will result in water disruptions to the following areas: Blue Downs, Summerville, Wembley, Hagley, Silversands, Brentwood Park, Highgate, and Bardale Village. Read more below:

The emergency work to repair a major leak, will disrupt the water supply to the abovementioned areas from 08:00 on Thursday 25 July, to 08:00 on Friday 26 July 2019. Residents may experience low water pressure or no water at all during this time.

A tanker will provide water to the affected areas.

All taps should be kept closed during this period to prevent any water loss and/or damage when the water supply is restored.

The City apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused while conducting these emergency repairs.
