WESTERN CAPE Our members continue to make strides in their efforts to eliminate the presence of drugs in our communities and to capture perpetrators of drug-related crimes. On Wednesday, 2019-10-23, at about 15:00, Atlantis SAPS members followed up on intelligence provided by the local community of alleged drug activities at a premises in Atlantis.

They arrived at Valk Lane, Robinvale, Atlantis armed with a search warrant and followed up on the information received. Upon arrival at the premises members entered and conducted a search of the property and discovered 940 ready packaged mandrax tablets and an undisclosed amount of cash inside the home. The mandrax tablets and cash were confiscated and handed in as exhibits.

A 41-year-old female suspect was arrested and will appear in Atlantis Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 2019-10-25 on a charge of dealing in drugs.
