Five males arrested for dealing in dagga near Colchester

KINKELBOS – Five men aged between 39 and 58 were arrested last night after being caught with 14 kilograms of dagga.

The arrest comes after Kinkelbos police members who were on patrol on the N2 spotted a suspicious white Opel Kadett traveling close to Colchester towards Port Elizabeth at 23:00.

The vehicle was pulled off the road by the members and upon searching it, they discovered 13 bags of dagga in the boot of the vehicle. The estimated street value of the dagga is about R 35 000.

The suspects were arrested and charged with dealing in dagga and will be appearing before the Alexandria Magistrates Court on 06 June 2019.
