DURBAN – Four men were arrested last night at Nyoni on the north coast. The suspects, aged between 21 and 24, are expected to appear in the Nyoni Magistrates Court soon.

Last night at 22:15, the victim Xolani Masondo (32) was with his companion at Esidakeni in Nyoni when he was approached by four suspects. He was removed from his home and was attacked. He was severely assaulted and died of his injuries. A case of murder was opened at Nyoni police station for further investigation. Nyoni detectives immediately initiated an investigation which led to the arrest of four suspects on the same night.
