Galeshewe training members arrest suspect for possession of suspected stolen property

NORTHERN CAPE – On Tuesday, 19 May 2020 at approximately 10:00 members of Galeshewe Training Centre were busy conducting lockdown crime prevention duties in Pniel road when they were stopped by a taxi driver who informed them about a man busy stripping a street lamp of electrical parts opposite AR ABASS stadium. The value of the stolen electrical parts are estimated at R1500-00.
The members apprehended and arrested a 41-year-old male who was found in possession of electrical parts.
The suspect will be charged for possession of stolen property and will soon appear in court.
