Members of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature graduate at Wits University

On Friday, 21st April 2017, several Members of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature will be graduating at University of Witwatersrand courtesy of educational and development opportunities made available to GPL Members.

Nine MPLs will be awarded with qualifications in Leadership and Governance in line with the role of Oversight, Law-Making and Ministerial Accountability that they are expected to deliver on.

The MPLs who will be graduating were awarded bursaries as part of an Administrative capacity building programme for all Members of the Provincial Legislature (MPLs).

The Members’ Capacity Building programme is designed for Members’ professional training and development programme sponsored by the South African Legislative Sector under the leadership of the Speakers’ Forum; and is in addition to the Administration Bursary fund by the GPL.

The MPLs who will be honored tonight are: Hon. Mokhangelo Solomon Chabalala, Hon. Ina Cilliers, Hon. Mpapa Jeremia Kanyane, Hon. Lebogang Hon. Isaac Maile, Hon. Mandisa Sibongile Mashego, Hon. Busisiwe Veronica Mncube, Hon. Lebogang Ludwig More, Hon. Hoffinel Ntobeng, and Hon. Christina Mabala.
