Talent wins games, teamwork wins championships and trophies. The SAPS 2019 Blackball Pool Interprovincial Championship was held at the Vadins Billiards, Milnerton from 27 October to 1 November 2019. Seven provincial teams and one from Head Office participated in the tournament. The championship was concluded with an awards ceremony which was held at the SAPS Sports Hall in Pinelands on Friday, 1 November 2019. Delivering the keynote address during the ceremony, Deputy Provincial Commissioner: HRM, Major General MC Mzamane, commended the participants for their commitment, dedication and determination.

“For every sporting activity the key for survival is determination and a commitment to going an extra mile in preparing oneself ahead of the game. It is not the will to win that matters- everyone has that. It is rather the will to prepare to win that matters”, he said.
