Members of De Aar POP and K9 pounced on dagga dealers at identified houses at Sunrise and Nonzwakazi in De Aar today. The police action was executed after operationalising information from De Aar Crime Intelligence.
Two suspects from different places were arrested and dagga weighing 150,85kg, estimated valued at R226 305, 00 was seized. The Provincial Head of Operational Response Services, Brigadier Monica Sebili applauded all the members who were part of the operation.
The suspects are expected to appear before the local Magistrates court soon.
