Kimberley and Grobleershoop drug dealers to appear in court

NORTHERN CAPE – Four suspects aged between 20 and 38 from Kimberley and Groblershoop are set to appear at the respective magisterial courts on Monday, 09 March 2020 for alleged drug dealing.

On Friday, 06 March 2020, the Serious Organised Crime Investigation arrested two suspects in a disruptive operation in Kimberley. The two men aged 23 and 38 were alleged to be distributing and selling drugs.

A search of their flat conducted by members of the Hawks seized crystal methamphetamine (tik) and Cat with an estimated street value of R32 800 as well as an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects are expected to appear at Kimberley Magistrate’s Court today.Two other suspects aged 20 and 26 are also expected to appear at the Groblershoop Magistrate’s Court today after they were arrested for alleged distributing and selling drugs.

The two were caught on Friday, 06 March 2020, following a search and seizure operation where members seized crystal methamphetamine worth approximately R24 000, cell phones, two electronic scales and an undisclosed amount of cash were confiscated. They are expected that Groblershoop Magistrate’s Court today.
