Kimberley K9 continues to clamp down on drug dealers

NORTHERN CAPE – In an unrelated incident today at 10:25, police continued their duties and followed up on information regarding drugs at the Dingaan hostels in Galeshewe.
A 29-year-old male was busy flushing mandrax tablets down the toilet when the police entered his house. They were able to seize some of the mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R1 740-00 and cash amounting to R1 678-40 believed to be the proceeds of the sale of the drugs.
The suspect was arrested and charged with dealing in drugs and will soon appear in the Galeshewe Magistrate’s court.
The group leader, Brigadier Nicky Mills commended the members for their continuance commitment and perseverance in removing drugs from the streets.
