Kimberley K9 unit continues to clamp down on drug dealing in Kuruman

Members of the Kimberley K9 unit continued their relentless efforts in clamping down on drug dealers in the Kuruman area when they searched a local tavern in Voortrekker Street in Kuruman 08:55 this morning, 27 September 2020.
The Kimberley K9 members followed up on the information and upon searching the premises, they found dagga hidden in a sound box on the premises.
A 44-year-old foreign male national was arrested and dagga with an estimated street value of R188 890-00 and cash amounting to R1386-90 was seized.
The suspect will soon appear in the Kuruman Magistrates court on a charge of dealing in dagga.
Brig Nicky Mills applauded the team for their determination in squeezing the space for drug dealers to operate. He also warned drug dealers that the police will vigorously enforce the law.
