Kimberley police bringing services closer to the people through mobile CSC

NORTHERN CAPE In the lead up to the festive season the Kimberley SAPS is doubling their efforts to ensure that the diamond city remains crimefree. Through the mobile SAPS Community Service Centre, members are bringing services closer to the people and increasing police visibility at crime hotspots, thereby deterring would be criminals.

Today, Constables Josua Matebisi and Ernest Misipidi were manning the mobile CSC and they indicated that they managed to assist a number of community members with affidavits and certifying of documents. They also added that through the past few days the mobile CSC has been placed at various crime hotspot areas around the CBD.

Colonel Belinda Rikhotso, the Kimberley SAPS Station Commander, added that the placement of the mobile CSC at various hotspots has had a drastic and tangible impact in the reduction of crime, as fewer cases of thefts out of motor vehicles have been reported.
