Korsten woman stabbed multiple times: Port Elizabeth

PORT ELIZABETH – Gelvandale detectives are on the hunt for a suspect/s allegedly involved in the gruesome killing of a 26-year-old Korsten woman.
It is alleged that on Friday, 07 August 2020 at about 07:45 a person was walking near an open space in Thornton Street when he noticed the body of a female lying in the field. According to the woman’s family, she left home last night, 06 August 2020 at about 19:30 to visit a friend in Shauderville. She left the friend’s house (time unknown) and never returned home.
Her body with multiple stab wounds was discovered this morning. She was identified as Lawren Shernice Jonathan. The circumstances surrounding the brutal killing is unknown. Suspect/s are also unknown.
Police are investigating a case of murder.
