KwaZulu-Natal Treasury engages media on revised Regulations of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act Of 2017

KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Finance, Mrs Belinda Scott, invites all media to the Provincial Treasury’s media briefing on the revised Regulations of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA) of 2017 in Durban on Monday, 10th April 2017.

The briefing will also mark the official launch of the Provincial Treasury’s roadshows to workshop service providers and municipal officials on the introduction of the revised Regulations of the PPPFA of 2017.

The Regulations of the PPPFA of 2017 were gazetted early this year, ushering in radical changes to redress challenges faced by the country to implement economic transformation.

Amongst issues to be dealt with are:

Why the changes?

What are the changes?

How are these changes impacting on the bids for tenders?

Who will be affected?

How ready is the Provincial Government to implement the Regulations of the PPPFA of 2017?
