The UK’s Department for International Development (DFID-Kenya) and Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) will launch the Skills for Oil and Gas Africa (SOGA) tomorrow 4th November 2015 at the Intercontinental Hotel- LE CHATEAU room from 08:30 am to 10.30am. The SOGA programme has been initiated by DFID and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and will be implemented by GIZ in Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania and Uganda. The programme aims to address skill gaps in the oil and gas supply chain in Eastern Africa and to assist the private sector and partner governments in preparing their workforces for upcoming opportunities.
