Limpopo police continue with crime awareness campaigns

NAMAKGALE – The South African Police Service in Namakgale outside Phalaborwa have today, embarked on a crime awareness campaign at Namakgale Crossing Complex. The campaign was led by the Station Communication officer Sergeant Lebogang Selepe accompanied by the Sector member Constable Adolf Maponya in partnership with the Young Civilian on Patrol (YCOP) member, Riding Ngobeni.

The following topics where addressed by Sergeant Selepe.

* ATM scams

* theft by false pretence

* bogus police

* fraud cases

* human trafficking

* women and children abuse

In conclusion, Sergeant Selepe warned the community not to buy stolen properties or items and to report any suspicious movement around the complex. He further informed them about the mobile police office at the complex for service delivery.
