Lulekani SAPS together with the CPF intensify learner’s safety through safer school campaign

The Police in Lulekani outside Phalaborwa conducted a crime awareness campaign at Nwarisenga Primary School. The campaign was led by the Station Commander Lt Col Musa Maswanganyi.

She was accompanied by Social Crime Prevention Coordinator Sgt Cynthia Nomvela, Sgt Sydney Makhubele Sector 2 Commander together with Community Policing Forum Exco Chairperson Mr Doctor Ngobeni.

Learners were addressed on the following issues:

* Gender Based Violence

* Sexual Harassment

* Use of cellphones at school

* Dangerous weapons

* Drugs and substance abuse

* Drowning

* Bullying

* Gangsterism

Furthermore, school uniforms were donated.

The principal of the school appreciated the SAPS for strengthening partnership with his department in the fight against crime and also to have touched the lives of the needy by donating school uniforms.
