EASTERN CAPE – Members of the Maclear Crime Prevention Unit confiscated drugs in two separate incidents during the weekend.

The arrests were made possible after positive information were followed up at Zakhele Township.

A 30-year-old suspect was arrested for possession of different sizes of mandrax tablets and 10 straws of tik.

In a second reaction to the information a 37-year-old suspect was also arrested for dealing in dagga and drugs.

The Cluster Commander, Colonel Matshediso Gezani commended the members on the arrests that was possible because of our enhanced police visibility.
