Man gets twenty (20) years imprisonment for girlfriend’s murder: Hartswater

NORTHERN CAPE – On Tuesday, 28 May 2019 Kimberley High Court sentenced David Adams (55), to twenty years imprisonment for his girlfriend’s murder.

The incident happened between 19 and 20 February 2018. According to the information, the victim was found dead in her bed with a swollen face and an open wound on her chin. A meticulous investigation conducted by Sergeant Tebogo Marcus of Hartswater Detectives linked the accused to the case through DNA tests.

The Station Commander of Hartswater, Lieutenant Colonel Sereetsi has commended the investigating officer for the good investigation conducted and ensuring that justice is served.
