KWAZULU-NATAL Minister of Police General Bheki Cele will officially open Colenso police station on Tuesday, 23 April 2019 in KwaZulu-Natal and engage with stakeholders, as part of bringing services and resources closer to the people as one of the priorities of government.

Colenso police station which is situated in the Uthukela Cluster near Ladysmith was recently completed and is ready to serve the local community. Following an outcry by community members of population growth and spatial developments necessitated of the new police station.
