Minister Lindiwe Zulu engages Young Entrepreneurs at SEDA Pre-GEC Pitching Competition in Durban

Minister of Small Business Development Ms Lindiwe Zulu (MP) will engage with young entrepreneurs at SEDA pre-GEC pitching competition in Durban on Monday, 13 February 2017.

The Small Business Development Agency (SEDA), an agency of the department, is currently running pitching competitions throughout the country through its incubators to select the top start-up ideas to pitch at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in March 2017.

SmartXChange is one of SEDA’s largest ICT incubators in the country located in Durban and Port Shepstone designed to harness innovative and start-ups in the Information Communication Technology and Electronics sector.

The competition is a build-up to the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC), which will be held in March 2017 in Johannesburg. This congress will be held against the theme Digital Disruption.
